The greek comes from a vineyard to a hundred meters far from Avellino DOCG, but the plants testify to a vineyard of the oldest of the variety mentioned by Pliny. The label is a Riggiola Bourbon, of the eighteenth century, as all the labels of the winery.

Winemaking: Maceration cold pre. Soft pressing and temperature controlled fermentation. Partial malolactic fermentation. Aged in stainless steel for three months and then rest in the bottle.

Organoleptic description

Colored paper with greenish hues, flavor of plums, infusions of hawthorn, sweet notes of white fruits such as currants and white mulberry.

Notes: The greek Prince owes its name to the Prince D'Avalos of Montesarchio, hero of the Battle of Pavia, who gave the Spanish domination of Italy at the end of '500. King Charles V gave him a feud that left Naples and arrived in Pescara. He loved to dine with the greek product in Montesarchio, where he had the largest cellar of its huge domains.
