Concept Ravi is based on the innovative concept of cooling wine at the very moment it's served.
It's not the bottle that is cooled, but the wine itself. The cooling process takes place as the wine passes through ravi. Simply place it on the neck of the wine bottle. Since not all wines are drunk at the same temperature, ravi has a valve that lets you control the flow of wine to obtain the desired temperature. Ravi is based on a revolutionary concept that will cool your wine to the ideal temperature instantly and will keep working for more than an hour after you take it out of the freezer. Ravi has to be placed in the freezer for 6 hours before you use it. Once you remove it from the freezer, assemble ravi's two components and place the device on the neck of your wine bottle. Place your thumb on the air-intake valve and tip the bottle sharply. Once it's in the serving position, remove your thumb to let the wine flow. When serving the first glass of red wine, pour the wine without slowing the flow. For the second glass, slow the flow slightly by placing your thumb on the air intake; for the third, slow the flow a little more, and so on. With repeated use (several glasses), the inside of the tube is warmed by the flow of the wine, so you must slow the flow to ensure sufficient cooling. In no time, you'll become adept at using ravi and will be controlling the temperature drop like a pro.
PERFORMANCE WITH RED WINE Ravi is designed to cool a full bottle of wine served within one hour. The table below shows what happens when you place ravi straight from the freezer on a bottle of red wine at 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Farhenheit), or normal room temperature.
