Belnero is a contemporary classic capturing the unique character of MontalcinoÂÂÂÂs renowned Sangiovese in an unfiltered cuvée of extraordinary clones selected after 30 years of pioneering research. We called this wine Belnero for its dark beauty, deep ruby color, and rich fruit flavors.
Predominantly Sangiovese with a small amount of other noble varieties, these select clusters of estate-grown grapes are gently crushed then fermented in patented temperature controlled French oak/stainless steel tanks.
Aging follows for 2 years in classic barriques. Belnero offers appealing violet and cherry nuances with subtle hints of cedar and licorice. Our pursuit of excellence culminates in Belnero.

Tasting Comments: Mauve red color, deep and intense. On the nose gentle aromas with notes of vanilla, tobacco and coffee, and also fruity hints of cherry jam and prunes. The structure is very powerful with soft and well balanced tannins, giving harmony, a long finish and great aging potential.
