Moscato Giallo or Goldmuskateller, is one of Italy’s indigenous grape varieties and was brought to South Tyrol presumably in 15 BC. Mostly used to create sweet wines, this one offers a rarely seen dry version of its kind.

Cultivating area: Warm and sun-exposed sites on Renon at about 500 m a.s.l. (1650 ft)

Harvest date: Late September until mid-October

Vinification: Gentle pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes: 

Color: Straw yellow with green hints

Aroma: Subtle nutmeg note, scents of citrus and apricot 

Flavor: Elegant and fresh. Well-incorporated acidity and light mineral notes.

Alcohol*: 13* %vol

Residual sugar*: 5,0* g/l

Serving temperature:10-12 °C (50-54 °F)

Food pairing: Aperitif or ideal partner for fish and herb-inspired cuisine.
